One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Eri Mitoittaa found a gap and took the lead. Solomon Street followed before Steel Transformer.




Eri Mitoittaa was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Solomon Street who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Eri Mitoittaa was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Solomon Street looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Solomon Street kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
