One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Front Bomb sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Front Bomb was in fine shape and held the lead. Holy Star started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Front Bomb clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Front Bomb followed by Hummer and Strong Folder. Lane two Dead Work followed by Wont Lose and Birmingham Six.




Dead Work suddenly took over the lead.



Front Bomb was first on the homestretch followed by Dead Work and Wont Lose.






Wont Lose won the race after a spectacular finish.
