One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Speedy John was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Great Deed started to galop and lost 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Front Sniper, Stifling Sun, Starstruck Wardrobe, Jolly Top, Strong Missile, Holding Back, Punching Wave, Speedy John.




Stifling Sun sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Great Deed suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Punching Wave looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Strong Missile speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Stifling Sun won. Strong Missile came in second. Punching Wave caught third place.
