One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sum Geni. Force Énorme ended up behind the leader. Makin´ A Mess got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

This is the positions after 500m. Clever Thinking, Shine, Good Looking Stone, Galaxyland Doom, Sum Geni, Makin´ A Mess, Mirage D'atlantique, Tarzan Boy.

The leader got disturbed by something and Good Looking Stone took the lead rather easily.

Galaxyland Doom looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Peruvian Walnut started to gallop after 1500m and Geir Gudmestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Sum Geni put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Sum Geni kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Sum Geni kept the speed the whole finish and won before Mirage D'atlantique and Force Énorme.
