Cubism Cherry was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Explosive Dynamite looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Smiling Wave couldn't come out from behind the leader, Cubism Cherry.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Explosive Dynamite followed by Covenant Cherry and Shining Sun. Lane two Golden Vanity followed by Smiling Wave and Cubism Cherry. Cubism Cherry started to gallop after 1500m and Tom Horpestad had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Explosive Dynamite was still in the lead after 2000m.



Explosive Dynamite looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Smiling Wave was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




Golden Vanity never caught up with Explosive Dynamite who won. Covenant Cherry came third.
