One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dagg sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Straight Monster galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. Cap Ferret started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Halvtosset showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Straight Monster was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Cap Ferret galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.




Dagg was still in the lead after 1500m.



Dagg sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Beauty Pearl sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
