The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Proud Desicion took the lead after a very quick start.

This is the positions after 500m. Dr Sheldon Cooper, Highland Star Shine, Bold Fall, Coast To Coast, Royal Miracle, Firewall, Raider, Proud Desicion.

Dr Sheldon Cooper clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Raider was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Along Comes Mary galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dr Sheldon Cooper followed by Bold Fall and Royal Miracle. Lane two Firewall followed by Highland Star Shine and Proud Desicion.

Dr Sheldon Cooper kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Firewall sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
