The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Rättvik this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dreaming Pirate could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




The leader got disturbed by something and Moonlight Diamond took the lead rather easily.

Sleeping Gold never caught up with Dream Fighter who won. Dreaming Pirate came third.
