It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dancing Love sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Before And After suddenly started to galop. Dan Widegren had to struggle to get Before And After to tror again and succeded after 40 m. Ride The Lightning was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Ride The Lightning sprinted to the front.

Lady Of Funk took the lead after 1000m. Holy News didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Red Barchetta was disturbed and galoped 40 m.

Holy News accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Holy News kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Holy News kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Before And After won. Holy News came in second. Dancing Love caught third place.
