It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rugged Valley was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Dramatic was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Troubling Sunray galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Rugged Valley looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Dramatic couldn't come out from behind the leader, Drzý.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Drzý followed by Annie Girl and Pinstripe´s California Dream. Lane two Rugged Valley followed by Dramatic and Agmund. Agmund started to gallop after 1500m and John Byström had to struggle to get it back in trotting. driver couldn't keep Troubling Sunray to trotting so they were disqualified.



Drzý looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Drzý. Rugged Valley came in second. Pinstripe´s California Dream became third.
