Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Halmstad track was in top-condition. The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day. Honourable Pain sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Svend Dyhrberg wanted a little to much in the start and Honourable Pain galoped for 40 m. This is the positions after 500m. Backstabbing News, Opposing Queen, Mysterious, Relaxing Mountain, Green Hornet, Fille Douce, Kabanov, Honourable Pain. Honourable Pain showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Opposing Queen saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. With only a little left of the race Mysterious galoped for 50 m. Relaxing Mountain was first on the homestretch followed by Opposing Queen and Backstabbing News. Relaxing Mountain kept the speed the whole finish and won before Opposing Queen and Green Hornet. Results
