One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Francais Magpie was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Beue Yierl quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Lonely Astronaut sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Lonely Astronaut followed by Snapple Apple and Beue Yierl. Lane two Francais Magpie followed by Walk In The Park and Forever Yours. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Beue Yierl gallopped for 20 m.



Francais Magpie speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Lonely Astronaut made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Francais Magpie.
