The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





The Ugly Duckling tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Saade that came steaming ahead. Moment In Truth was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and The Ugly Duckling sprinted to the front.




Ice Commander took the lead after 1000m. Moment In Truth didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.



With only a little left of the race Ice Commander galoped for 40 m. Waste Of Colours took the lead after 1000m. Moment In Truth didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.






Moment In Truth sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
