One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Portable Stone sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Per Ludvig Nilsen wanted a little to much in the start and Rugged Work galoped for 30 m.




Assortimento Campioni quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Power Platinum sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Power Platinum followed by Portable Stone and Assortimento Campioni. Lane two Lottatore followed by Rugged Work and Toronto Warrior.




Power Platinum didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Toronto Warrior was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



With only a little left of the race Toronto Warrior galoped for 30 m. Power Platinum sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Assortimento Campioni galopped for 50 m on the homestretch.




Rugged Work won the race after a spectacular finish.
