One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Selftimer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ornella Du Rib that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. Rudolf, Famous Jewel, Cold Breathe, Gold Lieutenant, Selftimer, Criminal Judge, Wandering Diamond, Ornella Du Rib.

Wandering Diamond sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. driver couldn't keep Gold Lieutenant to trotting so they were disqualified.

Rudolf looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Wandering Diamond put some pressure on the leader and could take over.

Criminal Judge suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Wandering Diamond galop. Wandering Diamond lost 50 m. driver couldn't keep Famous Jewel to trotting so they were disqualified.

Criminal Judge didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
