One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Greenstone Archer. Red Dino ended up behind the leader. Modest Breeze got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

The Seventh Sign quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Glowing Sunflower who started to galop and lost 10 m.

Strong Steel took the lead after 1000m. Lonely Sunshine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Jamaica Beach galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Strong Steel today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Jamaica Beach gallopped for 20 m.

Strong Steel were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Jamaica Beach galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Greenstone Archer won. Strong Steel came in second. The Seventh Sign caught third place.
