It had been raining for several days at Skellefteå but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Crush Some Rocks tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Schön Geschichte that came steaming ahead. Erik Adielsson wanted a little to much in the start and Five Of Hearts galoped for 10 m.

There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.

Kutanu was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Crush Some Rocks followed by Honourable Action and Avondale Trotter. Lane two Schön Geschichte followed by Five Of Hearts and Kutanu.

Crush Some Rocks sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Schön Geschichte didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
