It had been raining for several days at Arvika but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hermes Steel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Sarah Swahn wanted a little to much in the start and Hermes Steel galoped for 20 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Seront Reconnaître, Lilla Rara Söta Anna, Pharaoh, Chevaleresque, Hermes Steel, Face To Face, , .




Chevaleresque looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Pharaoh couldn't come out from behind the leader, Seront Reconnaître.




Seront Reconnaître was still in the lead after 1500m.



Seront Reconnaître looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pharaoh won the race after a spectacular finish.
