Only a humble breeze blew over Åby this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Café Au Lait was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Funtopia started to galop and lost 40 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Funtopia, Stifling Trap, Regrette Rien, Corazon Amok, Light Rose, Flower Garden, Café Au Lait, . Café Au Lait was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Corazon Amok took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Corazon Amok followed by Regrette Rien and Light Rose. Lane two Flower Garden followed by Café Au Lait and Funtopia.



Corazon Amok kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Funtopia showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




No-one could catch Corazon Amok today who won before Café Au Lait and Regrette Rien.
