Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Rovaniemi track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Giant Cruise could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Dark Princess was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Golden Shoes, Strong Folder, Hound Dog, Flea Smith, Giant Cruise, Prince Pug, Playing Wardrobe, Prime Pins.

Playing Wardrobe took the lead after 1000m. Hound Dog didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Playing Wardrobe today. It continued in the lead.

Playing Wardrobe kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Golden Shoes made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Giant Cruise.
