It had been raining for several days at Kannus but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Space Shadow tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Kamrat that came steaming ahead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Stifling Love was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Space Shadow today. It continued in the lead.




Hermes Lagun didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Hermes Lagun kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Kamrat didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
