The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Svensson Is Winning. Spang Jo Jo ended up behind the leader. Prince Pug got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Speeding Hurricane saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Maximum Overdrive was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Rugged Movement took the lead after 1000m. Prince Pug didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rugged Movement followed by Svensson Is Winning and Kebne Kaj. Lane two Speeding Hurricane followed by Prince Pug and Dominator. Spang Jo Jo galloped for 40 m.

Rugged Movement looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Final standings. 1 Prince Pug, 2 Kebne Kaj, 3 Dominator.
