Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Oviken track was in top-condition.
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Soraya Tilly was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Harald Sandström wanted a little to much in the start and Ruža galoped for 20 m.
Postcard From Ottawa quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Income Simb started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.
Laure Sainclaire sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Postcard From Ottawa suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.
Laure Sainclaire was still in the lead after 1500m. Rolling
Wave galloped for 10 m. Income Simb started to gallop after 1500m and John Östman had to struggle to get it back in trotting.
Laure Sainclaire kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
Soraya Tilly won. Greetings From Vega came in second. Laure Sainclaire caught third place.
