The weather had been good all week and Åmål was in good shape.

Forcefield could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Akacia was to tense at the start and galloped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Appelle started to galop and lost 40 m.

Tripping Flower quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Any Day Victory sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Comet Clipper galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.

Forcefield looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Forcefield kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.
