The weather had been good all week and Suonenjoki was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hjärter Knekt sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Hjärter Knekt was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Limerick Rake took the lead rather easily. Silvikko galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Limerick Rake today. It continued in the lead.



Limerick Rake kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Tempting Diary won. River Prince came in second. Hjärter Knekt caught third place.
