It had been raining for several days at Halmstad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





General Diamant could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Black Silence suddenly started to galop. Dan Widegren had to struggle to get Black Silence to tror again and succeded after 10 m.




General Diamant was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and The Jester took the lead rather easily.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one The Jester followed by General Diamant and Front Thinking. Lane two Starzinger Hoof followed by Argos and Luna Child.




The Jester was still in the lead after 2000m.



The Jester looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Starzinger Hoof never caught up with The Jester who won. Front Thinking came third.
