One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Gold Mine tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Seashell that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Frantic Crown started to galop and lost 30 m.

Drogheda saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

White Turf took the lead after 1000m. Gold Mine didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Gold Mine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Gold Mine kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Gold Mine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Frantic Crown galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Winner of todays race was Gold Mine. Seashell came in second. Bessman became third.
