It had been raining for several days at Dannero but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Criminal Serge found a gap and took the lead. Snap Shot followed before Disqualify.

Amarone saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Disqualify took the lead after 1000m. Amarone didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Disqualify followed by Frangelico and Criminal Serge. Lane two Amarone followed by Steel Architecture and Gentleman Folder.

Disqualify didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Sergeant Star gallopped 10 m after 2000m.

Disqualify were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Frangelico made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Disqualify.
