One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Fools Gold could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Strong Folder saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Fools Gold sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fools Gold followed by Strong Folder and Right On Line. Lane two Perfect Phantom followed by Brave Trooper and Lady Stardust. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Indiana gallopped for 50 m.




Fools Gold was still in the lead after 2000m.



Fools Gold looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Perfect Phantom sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
