The sun was shining on Dannero and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Chilipepper John took the lead after a very quick start.

Newport quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Chilipepper John who started to galop and lost 30 m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Lou Kronos took the lead rather easily.

Gold Crystal Star saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Chilipepper John galloped for 30 m.

Gold Crystal Star kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Dona Fione was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Gold Crystal Star sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Gold Crystal Star didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
