It had been raining for several days at Jarlsberg but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Edfast tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Moneypenny Face that came steaming ahead. Edfast quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Edfast clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. driver couldn't keep Evil Medieval to trotting so they were disqualified. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Edfast followed by Moneypenny Face and Villeveikko. Lane two Style And Passion followed by Swiss Merengue and Sacre Couer. Moneypenny Face suddenly took over the lead. Edfast was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m. Moneypenny Face were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Swiss Merengue galoped for 60m and was disqualified. No-one could catch Moneypenny Face today who won before Style And Passion and Edfast. Results
