One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Kip could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Whispering Daffodil started to galop and lost 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Otilija Bakaou sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Sowing Sugar galloped for 60m and was disqualified.




Whispering Daffodil accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Whispering Daffodil looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Whispering Daffodil kept the speed the whole finish and won before Kip and Otilija Bakaou.
