One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Her Monarchy took the lead after a very quick start. Odile De Sassy suddenly started to galop. Kenth Åkerlund had to struggle to get Odile De Sassy to tror again and succeded after 40 m. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Glorious Galaxy accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. With only a little left of the race Odile De Sassy galoped for 40 m. Glorious Galaxy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Her Monarchy never caught up with Glorious Galaxy who won. Shah Riar Svensson came third. Results
