It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sagittarius Cherry was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Kid Cherry, Rugged Rock, Diamond Flame, Calura Boy, Ticking Wish, Shooting Cube, Moving Thrasher, Back Down South. A bird flew just in front of Danial who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Shooting Cube sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Shooting Cube today. It continued in the lead.



Generale Fortuna suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Generale Fortuna didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
