One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ernestina Bakaou tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to The Best that came steaming ahead. Hellenienne suddenly started to galop. Claes Sjöström had to struggle to get Hellenienne to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




The Best was still in the lead after 1500m.




The Best kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



The Best were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Ernestina Bakaou won the race after a spectacular finish.
