One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Smiling Tropic tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Travelling Diary that came steaming ahead.

This is the positions after 500m. About Last Night, Nivala Sara, Travelling Diary, Smiling Tropic, Quick Legend, , , .

Smiling Tropic took the lead after 1000m. Nivala Sara didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Quick Legend galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Nivala Sara accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

With only a little left of the race About Last Night galoped for 30 m. Nivala Sara sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Travelling Diary made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Smiling Tropic.
