The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Jägersro this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bring It Home took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Court Of Appeal started to galop and lost 10 m. Boccie Ball was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified. When the startcar left the field Granit Luxor Cherry started to galop and lost 10 m.




Shining With You saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Sneaking Sunray sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sneaking Sunray today. It continued in the lead.




Sneaking Sunray didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Court Of Appeal showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



With only a little left of the race Sneaking Sunray galoped for 20 m. Court Of Appeal galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Sneaking Sunray were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Northern Territory won. Granit Luxor Cherry came in second. Bring It Home caught third place.
