It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Blue Hotel took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Special Lady started to galop and lost 50 m. Happy Girl suddenly started to galop. Christophe Martens had to struggle to get Happy Girl to tror again and succeded after 30 m.




Yolo David quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Special Lady took the lead after 1000m. Happy Girl didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Special Lady was still in the lead after 1500m. Horses Own Gift galloped for 50 m.



Special Lady sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Hope Set High galop. Hope Set High lost 50 m.




Blue Hotel won. Happy Girl came in second. Special Lady caught third place.
