One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Higgins was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Whitesnake, Waldner, Secret Transit, One Time Cherry, Khashoggi´s Ship, Kid Cherry, Higgins, Sky Fiction. A bird flew just in front of Sky Fiction who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Secret Transit looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that One Time Cherry couldn't come out from behind the leader, Whitesnake.




Secret Transit accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Secret Transit kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Whitesnake was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Higgins made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before One Time Cherry.
