One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Tropic found a gap and took the lead. Ouvre Liège followed before Gorgeous Spring. When the startcar left the field Gorgeous Spring started to galop and lost 50 m.




Liebe Leberkäse quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Fighter Fun took the lead after 1000m. Sergeant Power didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Ouvre Liège galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Cologne was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Sergeant Power looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Gorgeous Spring galoped for 30 m. Sergeant Power sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sergeant Power. Smiling Tropic came in second. Fighter Fun became third.
