The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Umåker today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Søt Som Sukker. Perfect Sky ended up behind the leader. Joyful Shine got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Joyful Shine saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Joyful Shine was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Joyful Shine today. It continued in the lead. Joyful Shine sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Joyful Shine were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Rangoon made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Joyful Shine. Results
