The weather had been good all week and Lindesberg was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

The Real Deal could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Energy Is All sprinted to the front. The Real Deal was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

The Real Deal looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Hector couldn't come out from behind the leader, Energy Is All. Grasping Peach suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Energy Is All today. It continued in the lead.

Number One Hoof litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Punching Angel made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Hector.
