One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tango Quick was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Tango Quick started to galop and lost 50 m.




Tango Quick was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of President´s Avenue who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Tango Quick clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Tango Quick was still in the lead after 1500m.




Tango Quick kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



With only a little left of the race President´s Avenue galoped for 10 m. Tango Quick sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Tango Quick never caught up with Nordic Roughneck who won. Quare Hawk came third.
