The weather had been good all week and Halmstad was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Green As Grass could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Green As Grass was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Rockbear Pepper sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Green As Grass looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Green As Grass sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Green As Grass. Intelligent Work came in second. Bold Princess became third.
