One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starshine Tropic took the lead after a very quick start. driver couldn't keep Quaffable to trotting so they were disqualified.




Starshine Tropic was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Starshine Tropic was still in the lead after 1500m. Starshine Tropic galloped for 30 m.




Starshine Tropic kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Starshine Tropic were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Starshine Tropic didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
