It had been raining for several days at Axevalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Ilona Bakaou could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Flying Around saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Flying Around was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Flying Around today. It continued in the lead.



Lady Tango suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Ilona Bakaou won the race after a spectacular finish.
