The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Romme this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Church Bell could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.

This is the positions after 500m. Loving Wind, Floating Love, Polished Pearl, Tactical Success, Afrodite, Bundoran, Pochahontas, Church Bell.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Polished Pearl looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Polished Pearl kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Church Bell galoped for 60m and was disqualified. Tactical Success galoped way to long and was disqualified. Claes Eskilsson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Pochahontas started to galopp and lost 50 m.

Floating Love won. Flying Free came in second. Polished Pearl caught third place.
