One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Riverfront could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Macho Macho Man started to galop and lost 50 m.




Joyau Madame saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Ghostly Wardrobe took the lead rather easily.




Sigue Sigue Sputnik accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Riverfront gallopped for 30 m. Ghostly Wardrobe galloped for 60m and was disqualified.



Sigue Sigue Sputnik were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






No-one could catch Sigue Sigue Sputnik today who won before Frasses Tjogosjunde and Moving Thrasher.
