One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Hit Song was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Explosive Dynamite saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Ton Nom J. looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Hit Song couldn't come out from behind the leader, Explosive Dynamite.




Hit Song looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Hit Song kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.




There was a new leader after 2500m, Explosive Dynamite.



Explosive Dynamite sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Hit Song galop. Hit Song lost 50 m.




Texas won. Dreaming Thrasher came in second. River Fall caught third place.
