One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Soulshine was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Vanuit saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Mad Pearl sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Vanuit was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Mad Pearl followed by Soulshine and Love Me. Lane two Funtopia followed by Princess Starlight and Vanuit.



With only a little left of the race Eighteenosix G.V. galoped for 30 m. Soulshine litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Hans Crebas tried a little too much on the homestretch and Soulshine started to galopp and lost 30 m.




Princess Starlight won. Funtopia came in second. Love Me caught third place.
